The contest is held annually for breast cancer awareness.
I decided to draw my buddy Karen with her mother in the background. Sadly Karen's mom died of breast cancer.

Drawn with watercolor pencils (I don't paint with them) on A4 cartridge paper.

^{This was the most technically infuriating drawing I've done in a long time. The color of the pencils I chose were perfect but their textures were terrible! That warm gray in the background was hopeless to get even. Once the contest is over I intend to rework it with another pencil. The pink, on the other hand went on like a dream but it refused to blend with the black. If it wasn't for a good cause I would not have finished it.}
