From what I deduce the premium memberships are now called "core" and more expensive.
I don't understand the issue though?
This is a business and if you want certain features, you pay for it. Prices increase. The end.
Don't get me wrong - I am not a fan of change... (like that logo) but this is a service... it has a service provider... who deserves to be compensated for their innovative platform. Many have tried to follow in the dA footsteps and disappeared into obscurity.
The biggest mistake dA made was trying to incorporate its users into the decision making.
PEOPLE ARE INHERENTLY SELFISH.
Every time something comes along that could possibly inconvenience them, it is war.
I too would like to make changes to the site but this is NOT my toy.
Honestly, if this place was mine, I would have shut it down just so I don't have to deal with the childish haters.
